Rosendin Electric is one of the largest electrical contracting companies in the United States, specializing in designing, installing, and maintaining electrical systems for a wide range of industries. Founded in 1919 in San Jose, California, it has grown into a leading player in the electrical construction sector, known for large-scale and complex projects.

During my time at Rosendin, I worked in the marketing department as a graphic designer. We worked on several projects both internally and externally, but our major function was to support the company with correspondence and to ensure that the corporate branding was consistent, the messaging is clear, and that Rosendin was a symbol of professionalism. One example is working on our Quarterly Corporate Newsletter - this was our main communication tool for the entire company, and I was personally tasked with structuring the layout and graphics for the newsletter. Click the newsletters below to view each in detail.

I assisted in editing corporate videos that were broadcast to an audience of over 9,000 employees as well as across all of Rosendin's social channels, ensuring high-quality visuals, clear messaging, and professional pacing. My role involved refining content, synchronizing audio, and enhancing graphics to align with company branding, helping to effectively communicate key initiatives and updates across the organization.
My design work has allowed me to contribute to some exciting large-scale projects, including creating the stadium and branding elements for the Fresno Grizzlies Minor League Baseball team. I was tasked with creating correspondence and interior design elements for high profile clients in the tech space. I also had the privilege of designing event graphics, signage, and promotional materials for the annual Rosendin U.S. Navy SEAL Foundation Golf Tournament.

My time at Rosendin Electric was an incredible period of growth, both professionally and personally. I’m grateful for the opportunity to have contributed to meaningful projects through the Rosendin Foundation, where I saw firsthand how design can amplify important causes. Working with high-profile tech clients sharpened my ability to create impactful, brand-aligned visuals in a corporate setting, while the support to pursue LinkedIn Learning certifications and attend Adobe MAX in 2023 expanded my skills and creativity. Most of all, I’ll cherish the relationships I built with talented, inspiring colleagues who made every challenge a learning opportunity. This experience has shaped me into a more versatile and purpose-driven designer, and I’ll carry those lessons forward.
